Registered Training Organisation

MSS Security’s Training Division, MSS Training Academy was launched in 2009. Further demonstrating our commitment to the training and development of our staff, who are the foundation of our success, our Training Academy ensures that all staff members receive contextualised training to provide a better trained and motivated workforce, which ultimately provides our clients with a higher standard of service.

Our Training Academy is a national registered training organisation which gives us the capabilities to deliver and assess nationally recognised qualifications to both current and potential staff.

What we offer

The accredited division of our Training Academy trains the Certificate II and III in Security Operations, with heavy customisation on the outcomes necessary to not only work successfully within the security industry, but specifically within MSS Security.

The Certificate II in Security Operations is the entry level training program and forms the minimum licensing requirement. Certificate II participants are seeking employment within the Security Industry and our training package provides the skills and knowledge necessary to work not only within guarding roles, but is specifically tailored to the roles carried out at MSS Security.

Many of our training participants seek employment with us upon successful completion of the course and obtaining of their license. The extensive program at Certificate II level not only provides a heavy introduction to MSS but also prepares participants for a successful career within the organisation.

The Certificate III in Security Operations is offered as a traineeship, once successful employment with MSS Security has been obtained. This level of training enables us the opportunity to up skill and further motivate our workforce.

External training (non accredited)

Our strong presence within the security industry coupled with our staff who are experts within the security field enables us to successfully develop and deliver industry and site specific training to meet specific industry or client needs.

The training we offer to external parties is developed in close consultation with relevant personnel to ensure the specific needs of the organisation are met. We have developed training packages in areas such as:

This training is not restricted to Security or Guarding work, we have the capabilities to develop training programs across many areas to staff not within the Security sector.

Our training programs are developed to meet specific client needs and have outcomes based on the specific operations of each individual client.
