Department of Immigration and Citizenship
MSS Security provides security services to the Department of Immigration and Citizenship, including: front reception concierge duties, external and internal patrols, monitoring electronic access control systems, processing and issue of departmental identification cards, contractor escorts, fire warden duties and issuing of notices for breaches of departmental security. The services are delivered to national office sites accommodating approximately 4,400 staff and regional offices in Sydney, Parramatta, Brisbane, Darwin, Perth and Dandenong. The national office sites have a 24/7 MSS Security presence comprising 18 guards on rotational shifts.
Our account management and security teams have developed strong relationships with the Department, and MSS Security's safety and compliance training has significantly improved the welfare and general security of the facility.

I have been very impressed with the MSS Security team who are very responsive to our needs and continually provide excellent service. On three occasions in a month, the security team received short notice that business units would be temporarily utilising another premises and they promptly updated the access control system (programming 60 - 80 cards) within four hours on each of these occasions which allowed the businesses to accommodate the space with minimal disruption

MSS Security provides security services nationally to Commonwealth Bank of Australia's corporate offices, over 1000 branches and 1,400 ATMs. Our highly trained security officers have a strong customer service focus, providing specialist concierge services and acting as ambassadors for the bank.
Our services also include: constant specialised patrol and inspection of ATM machines to detect card skimming devices, advising on security risks and appropriate solutions, access control, CCTV monitoring, security for special functions, liaising with
building management, and monitoring of car parks.

Australian Grand Prix Corporation
MSS Security has provided approximately 950 accredited security and event personnel for each day of the Australian Formula 1 Grand Prix event for the past three years.
The scale of the event requires our specialist event management team to roster 8,400 shifts over the four days. Our comprehensive resource infrastructure allows us to effectively manage the required security personnel for this large scale event.
Duties include: traffic management services, car parks access control, crowd control, corporate function security, general customer service, security control room, first aid response, close personal protection, events staff duties, corporate hosting, grandstand and information booth duties, car and motorbike parking/directions, and pedestrian traffic crossing management.
Our service delivery outcomes include the appropriate management of security threats within the international event management environment, the minimisation of risk, and maintenance of a safe and secure environment.
Santos Tour Down Under
All of MSS Security staff were polite, yet vigilant in their duties. All staff were appropriately chosen for their role, were punctual and conducted their duties as instructed.
Leading up to the event, I received excellent service and communication with MSS Security management during the planning, implementation and debrief processes.
As such, MSS Security has received an extension on their contract to provide Race Security Services for the 2010 Santos Tour Down Under.
Santos Tour Down Under
We have developed an environment of trust and cooperation with the South Australian Tourism Commission (SATC) and understand the culture of one of the biggest cycling races in the southern hemisphere.
Due to enormous public interest in Champion cyclist Lance Armstrong, crowd numbers totalled over 760,000 for the competition week. MSS Security was called upon to provide additional officers to control crowds on short notice for each day of the event. The additional officers were essential in maintaining the safety of the riders and the public. Special attention was given to track cross over points. This task was increasingly challenging as each stage of the event was in a different location for each race day and required thorough prior planning and preparation.
Up to 100 accredited security personnel were provided for each event day plus 15 event management / supervisory personnel. Our specialised event management team developed a comprehensive recruitment programme and specialised induction and training programme specific to the event.
Victoria Racing Club (VRC)
MSS Security has enjoyed a long and successful partnership with the VRC for over 28 years, providing security services for all race meetings, including the Spring Racing Carnival and world famous Melbourne Cup.
Our service delivery includes the provision of over 750 accredited security personnel for each event day plus 35 event management / supervisory personnel.
Duties include: VIP protection and escort, crowd control, corporate security, asset protection, traffic management services, car park access control, security and emergency control operations, first aid response, hand held metal detector screening, emergency response, and loss prevention.
ConocoPhillips
MSS Security provides security services to ConocoPhillip's LNG Facility located at Wickham Point in the Northern Territory. The facility is unique as it is a LNG plant directly linked to offshore gas fields with its own Port Facility. The entire facility is subject to maritime security regulations and legislation and is also subject to all safety and security protocols pertinent to a petro-chemical facility.
MSS Security provides fully trained and licenced security officers to ConocoPhillips 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Duties include maritime water-borne patrols, access and egress control, gatehouse duties, random vehicle searches, site safety inductions for visitors, site escorts and first aid services.
MSS Security's provides a customised training programme (developed by its National Maritime expert) delivered in accordance with relevant legislation. MSS Security supports ConocoPhillips in their Safety Vision of "Zero Harm" to employees, visitors and contractors.
MSS Security's effective emergency planning and commitment to ConocoPhillips was demonstrated during Cyclone Helen which impacted the greater Darwin area with high winds and rainfall lasting approximately 24 hours. During the lead-up to the cyclone, MSS Security assisted ConocoPhillips by identifying on-site hazards and ensuring that all emergency procedures were followed to ensure the safest possible shutdown during the cyclone's impact. At the height of the cyclone security officer, Glenn Weber, remained on-site to ensure that an occupational first aid-trained officer was available if required.
